Look At The Great Hands On Experiments We Explored!

We learned that we have 5 senses.  We explored our 5 senses through books, writing and great hands on activities with Ms. Rachel.

 Experimenting With The Sense of Taste and Touch

 This morning we had some great exploration stations set up for the children to explore the sense of touch and taste.  Afterwards the children were able to create a Venn diagram of the objects they felt that were similar and different as well as create a scientific drawing of their tongue. We also learned that our tongue has different taste buds for tastes that are sour, sweet and salty.

The children created an illustration of themselves and wrote about how the sense of hearing is important and what this sense helps them do.
