Welcome to our Life Studies Blog! This is the place where you can come to see and listen to what is happening in Kindergarten in regards to science! We have a wonderful 4 Winds science education program that is run and lead by parents. In Kindergarten we also do a lot of outside discovery within the natural world. Young children are curious and great observers. We spend lots of time in the natural world looking for patterns, similarities and connections.

A great activity for you to do at home with your child would be to take a walk through your neighborhood, down a road or even walk down a city street and look closely at all the buildings, houses, etc. that you see. Look for evidence and or clues that a bird may be living there! The talk to your child about how the bird may or may not like the habitat that you see their nest in.
