This afternoon the children had an opportunity to learn about what animals in Vermont are active and how to look for signs of where they are! We also had an opportunity to see a stuffed Fischer too! We discovered how sharp their teeth are!
Welcome to our Life Studies Blog! This is the place where you can come to see and listen to what is happening in Kindergarten in regards to science! We have a wonderful 4 Winds science education program that is run and lead by parents. In Kindergarten we also do a lot of outside discovery within the natural world. Young children are curious and great observers. We spend lots of time in the natural world looking for patterns, similarities and connections.

What Can You Do With A Skull?
Yesterday afternoon we had another wonderful 4 Winds program about skulls and teeth. The children learned so much! Some of the children found it interesting to count how many teeth each of the skulls had! What a great way to practice our oral counting in an authentic way!
