This morning the children worked in cooperative groups to discover what happened to raisins when they were put into seltzer water. It was exciting to listen to all of the observations and predictions that were made. Be sure to ask your child about what they observed!
One of the children made a great observation! " The raisins were floating because there were bubbles underneath them pushing them up. " Wonderful!
Welcome to our Life Studies Blog! This is the place where you can come to see and listen to what is happening in Kindergarten in regards to science! We have a wonderful 4 Winds science education program that is run and lead by parents. In Kindergarten we also do a lot of outside discovery within the natural world. Young children are curious and great observers. We spend lots of time in the natural world looking for patterns, similarities and connections.
